Today is World Water Day. A day to raise awareness for the over 1 billion people around th e world who do not have access to clean drinking water.
Last year, I appealed to you to join us in making a donation to Blood: Water Mission to help build wells in Africa. This year I want to up the ante. If you made a donation last year, I encourage you to consider increasing your generosity this year. If you’ve never given to Blood: Water Mission, now is an excellent time to start!
Also, last year I shared the work of PlayPumps International. Below is a video showing the progress they’re making and talking more about the idea.

The Play Pump is a great idea.
But worldwide, water levels are falling – the first world is using up more water than is its fair share.
World Water Day 2009 also has come and gone – and not much attention paid.
Water greetings!
