Similar to one I just did (and I really like it):
# Grains: 12 oz 60L Crystal Malt
# 1 oz Black Malt
# Extracts: 6 lbs Light DME
# Hops: 9 HBUs Northern Brewer (Bittering)
# 1/2 oz Cascade (Flavor)
# 1/4 oz Saaz (Aroma)
# Yeast: British Ale Yeast
Yours is probably a bit lighter than mine, right? With the light extract vs. the amber I used?
You probably have a little more hop complexity as well. On the hops side, mine is a bit mild and feels like it’s missing something.
Yeah, a little closer to a typical pale in color……I like mine super hoppy.
