The long-running PBS show Austin City Limits will kick off its 33rd season on October 6th. This season’s full broadcast lineup was announced today and includes a number of performances I’m pretty excited about including Lucinda Williams, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Regina Spektor and a brand new one-hour set by Wilco!
Seriously, you really should be making setting your TiVo to record ACL a habit. I’ve been turned on to so many great bands through performances on that show. What other show can you tune in to hear live performances from such a diverse range of artists as Coldplay, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips and Etta James?
To compliment the launch of the new season the show is also planning a completely revamped website which is rumored to include a ton of bonus content such as interviews, performances and more.
