  1. bah, this guy’s full of it. the bible is just a mythos of timeless axioms, a sometimes helpful, ahistorical, abstractions with no authorial intentions … any meaning i feel when i read it is merely a reflection of my own inner need for the Religious.

  2. On one hand I don’t see what all the fuss about how newly relevant Mars Hill is. It’s the same words only the hair and clothes are different.

    On the other hand I don’t see what the fuss over what’s different about Mars Hill. It’s the same Christianity with different style.

    I hope that style doesn’t make or break God’s message.

    I tend to be wary of “slick church” but I’m glad all the technology makes hearing/seeing Mars Hill accessible.
