  4. So yeah, anyway. The season starts tonight.

I wonder how long it will take for Giants fans to remember they hate Eli Manning. 😆

I’ve got Santana Moss in this game (thanks for nothing Steve Smith!), so at least I have some vested interest in the game tonight.

And McCain’s waiting for the game to finish before beginning his speech. There’s one reason to like the dude.

  5. yeah, i don’t see the g-men doing much this season. they lost their 2 defensive ends, both pro-bowlers, and that division is like the SEC, tough as hell. i picked the ‘skins as a wild card suprise, but any one of those 4 teams could win that division. so, keep hope alive, jimmy!

i think you & pdog might be right about the saints doing that well – but their D is suspect (or so i hear, again, i’m very uninformed this year). and, i’d have picked the chargers to take the afc if not for the merriman stuff. and “lt” (we all know who the real LT is/was!) being a post-season punk.

i just hope at least 2 bears games will be on tv. i’ll be calling in sick to work those days 🙂

  6. yeah i want to change that! i forgot about the whole importance of the qb thing! manning and mcnabb certainly should be able to do more good for their teams then what’s his face.

  7. So, I’m feeling pretty good about the fact that I was 50% on my playoff picks.

Then again, I did say the Lions would be a Wild Card team. So I should probably never show my face in public again.

  8. wow i only got 4 playoff teams right. i was way off on the nfc, only got the vikings right, ironically. dallas, jacksonville & new orleans were all disappointments, and new england finished 11-5, but lost the important game to miami. the rest of my choices were dumb 🙂
