If you liked it then you shoulda (recorded a way better version of it)

Meet Pomplamoose. Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn began making music in the summer of 2008. They use a home recording studio and make videos in a new format they call “Video Song.” In short, if you see it you’re hearing it. You can see some of this “new media” in action on their YouTube page.  Their MySpace page has a bunch of original tunes as well as free downloads of covers of songs by Simon and Garfunkel, Feist, Edith Piaf and the Sound of Music.

I’m hooked. I guarantee I’ll be sharing more from them down the road.

  1. Ah, what you can do with a regular human voice and minimal modulation (NOT autotune)! I like the part where she say’s “don’t make me sing this part of the song, the lyrics are so bad”!

  2. i realize to critique a beyonce song is like picking about the doodling of a 5 year old, but you don’t put a ring on it if you like it, you put a ring on it if you *love* it. duh.
