Oh Come Divine Messiah

The 12 Tunes of Christmas – Day 12

We’ve reached the end of our countdown. I hope you’ve enjoyed listening to these songs as much as I have selecting them for you over the past few weeks.

“Oh Come Divine Messiah” by Robbie Seay and Jennie Lee Riddle is a modern adaptation of a 17th century French carol by Abbot Simon-Joseph Pellegrin. It is an expression of the “now, not yet” anticipation of the coming Messiah during Advent.

May your Christmas be warm and filled with love and wonderful things. And may we always be looking forward to the day when our Divine Messiah comes.
