So today’s the day! The Simpsons is my all-time favorite television show and it finally hits the silver screen today!
Although, I must admit that I’m a little nervous that it’s going to bomb. The show itself hasn’t been very funny for the past five years or so, and it should have gotten the big screen treament during the peak of its popularity some ten years ago. On the other hand, they’ve had nearly 20 years to work on it, so it might just rock!

That’s very encouraging! We’re visiting the in-laws this weekend. I think I’m going to try to sneak out and catch a matinee tomorrow. Otherwise I’m going to have to wait a while.
